Doo Rag Nation β Refund & Return Policy

At Doo Rag Nation, every order is a handshake. We stand behind what we make, we treat every customer with respect, and when we get something wrong, we make it right β quickly and fairly. This policy explains exactly when and how returns, refunds, and exchanges work, so there are no surprises for you or for us.
We’ll Always Make It Right When It’s On Us
If the mistake is ours, we cover it completely β a free replacement or a full refund, your choice. This applies when:
- We shipped the wrong item.
- Your item arrived defective or flawed.
- Your item was damaged in transit.
- Our customer service caused the error.
To start one of these claims, contact us within 7 days of delivery and include a clear photo of the item and your packing slip. We’ll send a prepaid return label or resolve it on the spot β at no return shipping cost to you.
Hygiene Comes First: Worn Items Cannot Be Returned
Doo rags and headwraps are personal items worn directly against the head and hair. For the health and protection of every customer, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any item that has been worn, washed, or used, or that has had its hygiene seal or attached tags removed.
Each item ships with an intact Doo Rag Nation hygiene seal/tag. As long as that seal and the original tags are still attached and the item is unworn and unwashed, it qualifies for return under the terms below. Once the seal is broken, the item is considered used and is no longer eligible β the same standard trusted retailers apply to swimwear and other personal-wear products.
Return Window & Condition
For all eligible returns (other than the our-fault claims above), you have 7 days from the delivery date to request a return. Items must be:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unused
- In original condition with all tags and the hygiene seal still attached
- In the original packaging
Returns requested after 7 days, or for items not in this condition, cannot be accepted.
Final Sale β Not Eligible for Return
The following are sold as final sale and cannot be returned or refunded except in the our-fault cases above:
- Personalized, custom, or made-to-order items (including custom branch, unit, or team designs)
- Clearance and discounted/closeout items
- Promotional bundles and multi-packs (e.g., 2-for pricing) β unless the entire bundle is returned unworn with all seals intact
- Free or gift-with-purchase items
Your Responsibilities as the Customer
- Order accuracy: Please double-check your selection, size, color, and shipping address before completing checkout. We are not responsible for items lost or undeliverable due to an incorrect address, or for the wrong item being ordered by mistake. We’re glad to help arrange an exchange where the item still qualifies under this policy.
- Change of mind: If you simply change your mind on an eligible (unworn, sealed) item, you may return it for store credit or an exchange. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility in these cases.
How to Start a Return
- Contact us first. Email or****@**********on.com Β with your order number and the reason for the return. Please do not ship anything back before you hear from us.
- We’ll issue a Return Authorization (RA). Returns sent without an RA may not be processed or refunded.
- Ship it back to the address we provide within 14 days of receiving your authorization, in the original packaging with the seal and tags intact.
Order Verification
For quality control and to protect both you and us, every Doo Rag Nation order is inspected and photographed at the time of packing. These records let us resolve any “wrong item,” “missing item,” or “defective” question quickly and fairly.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your authorized return, we’ll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5β10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except in our-fault cases. Please note that your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Exchanges & Store Credit
We’re happy to exchange an eligible item for a different design, color, or size while supplies last. If you’d prefer, we can issue store credit instead β it never expires and can be applied to any future order.
Shipping, Delivery & Lost Packages
- Once a package leaves us, delivery is in the carrier’s hands. When tracking confirms a package was delivered to the address provided, the order is considered fulfilled. We are not able to automatically refund or replace packages the carrier has marked as delivered.
- If your tracking shows delivered but you can’t locate the package, contact us β we’ll help you open a carrier investigation and do right by you wherever we reasonably can.
- For added peace of mind, we recommend selecting shipping protection at checkout where available, which covers loss or theft in transit.
Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention
We treat every customer fairly, and we ask the same in return. If there is ever a problem with your order, contact us first β we will work with you to fix it. Most issues are resolved within a day.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first reaching out slows resolution for everyone, and when a claim is not legitimate it takes money directly from a small, veteran-owned business. To protect ourselves and our honest customers:
- We retain complete records for every order β order details, packing photos, tracking, delivery confirmation, and all communications.
- We will provide this evidence to the card issuer to contest any dispute filed without contacting us first, or that we have reason to believe is fraudulent (“friendly fraud”).
- We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or decline future business from any account that shows a pattern of fraudulent chargebacks or abusive returns.
This is never about making returns hard for good people. It’s about making fraud hard for bad actors.
